  • I'm looking for a positive reinforcement trainer, would this be a good match?

    Etsu & Me is a relationship based balanced trainer that uses all kinds of tools including, but not limited to, food, toys, crate, slip leash, prong, e-collar. If you are only comfortable with positive only, I recommend working with another trainer.

  • How can I register?

    You can register for both In Person Sessions and Board & Train at the registration page. We are currently scheduling for 2025.

  • I would like to start training with you. When will you be accepting new clients?

    We are currently accepting new clients! That said, to maintain quality training, I only accept limited slots each quarter and do my best to schedule 6 months in advance during slower seasons and up to a year during busier seasons.

  • What are your Rescheduling Policies?

    All sessions may be rescheduled as soon as the email confirmation for the session is sent out and no later than 72hrs prior to the session at no fee. If you can no longer make the session and it is within 72 hrs, the session is forfeited with no refund.

  • Something came up at the last minute and I need to cancel my session. How do I go about that?

    When you scheduled your session, a confirmation email should have been sent out. Please reschedule your session, instead of canceling, no later than 72 hours prior to your session. Since there are no refunds, rescheduling allows you to move your session another day without having to go through the payment portal.

    If a session cannot be rescheduled 72hrs prior, and you are unable to make it, the session is forfeited.

  • I paid for my sessions already, but decided I don’t need them anymore. Can I get a refund?

    Etsu & Me does their best to communicate how important commitment and consistency is to your dog’s success. The minimum required commitment and the possibility of training going longer are also communicated ahead of time. Both parties agree to this prior to scheduling. Because of this, there are no refunds. I recommend that you commit to the remaining scheduled and paid sessions to make the most of it, and just let me know ahead of time that it will be your last set of sessions.

  • I was referred by one of your clients and sent an instagram dm, but haven’t heard back. When can I expect a response?

    Thank you for inquiring about training. Our instagram is used for educational and entertainment purposes only. If you are interested in training with Etsu & Me, please fill out the registration form so we can get to know each other better.

  • Can I dm or text you my questions?

    All official Etsu & Me client (current and prospective) and trainer interactions are done via email. Please email us any questions so we can better assist you.

  • Can I transfer my in person credits to my Board and Train?

    No. During the evaluation, the recommended length of the B&T takes into consideration any in person training sessions already scheduled or will be scheduled. Therefore, virtual or in person sessions cannot be credited to B&T as B&T length depends on the work that owners will be doing between the evaluation and the drop-off date for B&T.

  • I sent an instagram dm to follow up on my email
